The ‘Mariñeira’ cookie is a modern adaptation of boat bread, an ancient solution for sailors to preserve bread on their long sea voyages. Three brothers have ventured into this project focused on the rural area, baking this amazing cookies.

As lovers of nature, healthy food and the Galicia countryside, the Orballo team feels that there is nothing more grateful than working on land; that’s why in 2012 they decided to start Orballo to offer 100% organic products of the best quality.
From the region of “As Mariñas”, they began to cultivate species such as chestnut, hazelnut, walnut and multiple aromatic plants, from the respect and care that our land deserves.
